10.00 (excellent) Perhaps, I'm too generous, but it IS a "personal" rating. Alucard, the ultimate anti-hero.

10.00 (excellent) It's on TV all the time. The magic has been lost, but I remember that it was stupid great.

Fullmetal Alchemist

10.00 (excellent) It's far too original (as far as I know) and compelling to dislike.

10.00 (excellent) Why, oh why did they have to end the series? Fortunately, I have the manga to keep the magic going. Oh how will this facinatin

9.75 (excellent) F'ing great. A little sick and twisted, but that makes it great.

9.75 (excellent) No show has ever made me laugh quite so much. I don't know exactly what it is, but there's just something hilarious about the situations that Harima gets into. It's kinda weird too, I didn't think I'd like him at first. I swear, there's something for everybody in this show. Go. Watch it now. Or don't. Whatever.

9.75 (excellent) Maybe I should say 10. It's got that post-apocalyptic, distopian sort of feel. Oh, and the ending, WHAM! Did not see it coming.

9.50 (excellent) An especially great anime for $50-60. Good visuals, easy to follow, and mature without being melodramatic.

Black Lagoon

9.50 (excellent) I'd like to point out here that I'm no judge of animation or audio quality; I can only tell when it's really, really bad. That being said, I absolutely love this show. Sure there's no plot or genuine character development but who needs that garbage. All I need is psycho bi*ches going at each other's throats. More please!

9.50 (excellent) Two complaints: not enough Karura, unpleasant ending for reasons I shall not disclose. Let's just say it changed the tone of things considerably. Everything else, great!

Mushishi

9.50 (excellent) I have no idea how to describe this series. Artwork, music, characters, voice acting (not that I'm an expert), suberb! Just watch it!

9.50 (excellent) If I haven't said it before I'll do so now, I love exploitation films. Occasionally, deep or emotional or thrilling etc. is good, but at the end of the day I want this. Some complain about being true to the manga and whatnot, but I could care less. The main point to be made, though, is that it taught me that I may be, if only very slightly, s+m. In a good way.

Full Metal Panic!

9.25 (very good) It contains an effective combination of light-hearted humor, action, and adult themes. I wrote more earlier but it seems to have been cut off, oh well.

Tenjou Tenge

8.75 (very good) The women are absurdly attractive; and, as such, I have no problems with that. A bit slow, not DragonBallZ slow, but slow.

8.75 (very good) Could possibly move a bit faster in the first half of the series. However, I'm trying to be critical. Emotionally powerful at times.

Natsu no Arashi

8.50 (very good) About 50% watched. I like the characters which is what really matters to me in an anime. My main complaint is the lack of new venues. There's just no enough action for me to go up to 9+ yet. Interesting new ideas on issues with time travel though.

Dark Stalkers

8.00 (good) I've seen NightWarriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge. 4 episodes is not enough.

You're Under Arrest

7.75 (good) Don't really know what draws me to this show. Just gotta watch. Each episode is like a Lay's Originals potato chip to me. They're kind of bland, but good enough for me to want to finish the bag. Also, Miyuki and Natsuki are pretty hawt. There, I said it.

Burst Angel

7.00 (above average) The downfall of society theme hooked me. The forced storyline and equally forced emotional content pushed me away. Had 3 episodes left to watch, took me 6 months. Don't get me wrong, it's not terrible; it's just repetitive (even to a mindless tv zombie like myself). Plus, I just don't dig the giant robots. I'll mark partially cuz I've still got the movie to watch.

Neon Genesis Evangelion

6.00 (average) Anime lovers will hate, but this series is totally overrated. Somebody punch that Shinji kid in the face.

6.00 (average) I'm not big into cyborgs and spy-games, but the pretty colors kept me watching.

3.00 (poor) The skeleton in my closet. I had $30 and saw the box art. The DPF girls are only good as illustrations.
